My little sister just got a pair of Green anoles from her school, apparently it's some science project they do every year and then give the anoles away to people who want them. At first I was told they were 'Chameleons' and spent hours researching thier needs (I've never had reptiles before), only to find out that they were actually anoles!
Now I'm pouring hundreds of dollars into these two guys, but there worth it. But while researching on anole care I came across complaints of carnies/vendors selling anoles as 'baby dragons' often calling themselves an 'Ophanage for Baby Dragons'.
They are selling anoles in small plastic containers with pellet food, sand substrate, a seashell (presumably for the food), and a branch for $15.00 claiming it's everything they need. They provide thier customers with completely inaccurate information: [link]
Anyone else heard of these people?
